Stone Mountain

I can't believe we haven't taken our little man up this mountain. On this particular day, we had a play date with my old friend, Bonnie and her son Micah. I love his name. Both of the boys seemed to enjoy every minute of running around and jumping (which gave me a couple of heart attacks a few times). Boys are wild!

Here's Caleb taking it all in...

I love this picture of them. Caleb is an expert on giving me a big "cheeeeese" and "put your hand around ___" on demand so I was so excited when Micah followed my command as well. I can hang with this kid. I feel a photoshoot coming. =)

The boys were brave with roaming around the edges. Made me aged a few years.

Here's a picture of the 4 of us. I love the remote for my Nikon. I love that I no longer have to ask strangers to take pictures for us and not liking the pic. Best gift ever!

Summer Kisses

This is how my boy has been giving me kisses. He grabs my face and pulls me in a BIG wet one. He actually makes the MWAAA sound too. =) Melts my heart every time. I ask for about a million kisses a day...

Breakfast of Champions.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Caleb always eats the most and it is always guaranteed a wonderful bonding time. This very morning we had scrambled eggs with spinach and (because I am such a great mom I added) toast with Nutella. My husband thinks I'm weird for feeding our kid spinach for breakfast but it was delicious!

But of course, it wouldn't be Caleb if he didn't enjoy the eggs with spinach more than the Nutella toast. =)

He loves Nutella toast too. I swear by Nutella being a happy food.. It sure makes us happy!

What did I have for breakfast?

This delectable, heaven in a package, chocolate croissant. Whole Foods is my happy place. =)

Wouldn't life be so much better if people take time and sit down for breakfast with people they love? Sigh.

Superman's rare treat of the week, sometimes month. He enjoyed that tiny cupcake to pieces.

I need to take more pictures of my boy. More pictures of our family. More pictures of the precious moments of the day, even if it is just of the monotonous activities during our days at home.

new do. new mission.

My recent hair cut, a decision I hope not to regret come the holidays. BUT I'm enjoying short hair right now. Especially dead in the scorching heat of August.

I've finally figured what I want with this blog... Sigh. =)
