Father's Day...

Dearest hubby.
You are the best man I have ever known. And I hope Caleb turns out to be JUST like you (you know, because the other 5% that isn't already like you)!

Life truly gets sweeter as we get older. Look at the smiles on their faces! That little boy adores both of those men... I hope he grows up to have them as his best friends.

Cautious boy.

Is this not the cutest picture EVER? I'm lightly biased because that little boy is mine. But be honest with yourself, you haven't seen a cuter looking baby. ;)

My father got this for Caleb recently and the test run was super fun. Although he sat in one spot for about an hour before deciding that it wasn't too dangerous for him to stand up and explore. He walked around the pool ONCE and sat back down, refusing to take advantage of the slide (which I was dying to try but we all know how that can end up). Caleb had a fun morning with me under the sun... I'm hoping to get some adventurous movements next time.

5 years ago...

 ... was a beautiful beginning of our courtship!

It’s a constant surprise how fast a year goes by... It has been 5 wonderful years!
I love and treasure every moment with him... I'm so blessed to have him and honored to be his wife!

heart-filled.

My heart is joy-filled tonight.
It's cheesy but I happily hum to Darius Rucker's "This" when I think of being happy. Caleb is sound asleep in his room and my husband is snoring, lying next to me. "This" if what life is all about.

We are FINALLY moved into our first home. Thank you, Jesus, for gracing our hearts with one of your grandest blessings. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
